My Philosophy
In my work, I strive to go above and beyond the minimal expectations. As a coach and teacher, I do my best to apply my personal life while leading the athletes and students. I have experienced many trials and tribulations through winning and losing in my athletic career. In addition, there are many times I experienced difficulties and setbacks with my teaching and coaching careers as well as personal incidences that were truly spiteful. Instead of viewing the negative experiences as rejection and a failure, I use it to help the athletes and students understand that there will be hard times in life. However, by having the right attitude and making positive life choices, they can overcome any challenge and develop a life of success. I have learned in my adult life how to use negative experiences to fuel my desires to achieve my goals.
I use my personal strengths as well as my coaching background and training to be a better leader for my students and athletes. I demonstrate grit, perseverance, hard work, determination, and rise to overcome every obstacle. I work my hardest at achieving my goals and never stop setting new goals that are even higher. I push myself to never stop improving, never stop learning, and never stop leading.
